Sasha travelled from the Bahamas to meet her fiance Felton who works in Dubai and they wanted to get their engagement photos done in Dubai. They chose to stay at the Palace Downtown Hotel in Downtown Dubai and we did a quick one hour engagement photography session for them there.

Audrey met me a few months ago to discuss the possibility of photographing her wedding late last year. Her only requirement was that she wanted a photographer that believed in photographing real moments that keep happening on the wedding day. I love clients who let me shoot in my own style and more than that love me for my style of photography.

A & R are childhood sweethearts who have known each other for almost fifteen years. FIFTEEN!! Moving away from each other across countries and continents where life took them, their fondness for each other as good friends never dropped. In fact, the distance made the heart grow fonder and they were able to develop their friendship into love into a relationship and finally into a married couple. A&R got married among the love of both friends and family.

R lives across the world and had come down to Dubai to get married to the girl of his dreams. They had taken up a block of villas at Ewan Grand Resort in Ajman. Felt like there was a party happening there on the morning of the wedding as they got ready with Hair and Makeup by Dubai Wedding Makeup Artist Bhumika. The entourage moved to the St. Michael’s Church in Sharjah for the wedding ceremony followed to the beautiful backdrop of Ajman Saray Hotel along the beach for their Wedding reception.

While all of the UAE was travelling to Abu Dhabi this weekend for the Formula 1 race at Yas Island, a bunch of photographers and I traveled in the opposite direction to Ras Al Khaimah. It was a new moon night and we wanted to reach a vantage point away from all the light pollution that the cities of UAE bring with them.

We drove up to Jebel Jais to shoot some stars and if possible the Milky Way. Those who know my photography would know that I am a wedding photographer in Dubai and not a big landscape photographer. This was my first time shooting astro photography apart from the one off big moon or the eclipse that I have tried to shoot. With the guidance of a good friend and photographer Jason, and some articles on the internet, we set out to capture the night skies.

Once I got a couple of Milky way captures, I saw the fog settling in below us. I changed the position and wanted to capture the landscape of the magnificent mountain setup with the clouds below us and the starry night sky above us.
